About Cocoa Beach

Cocoa Beach is located on a barrier island in Brevard County; nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Banana River Lagoon on Florida’s East Central Coast.  Just six miles long and less than one-mile wide, Cocoa Beach is truly a unique place to relax and unwind.

Disney World, Epcot, Sea World, Universal, MGM Studios and the Orlando airport are all less than an hour west on the 528 (The Beach Line) and Daytona Beach is a little more than an hour north on Int. 95, Hwy 1 or A1A.  Melbourne and the Melbourne International Airport are about 30 minutes south of Sandcastles Resort.  Cape Canaveral, Port Canaveral and NASA are just minutes north.

Sandcastles is on A1A and within walking distance of shopping, dining and the easy beach style and nightlife activities of Cocoa Beach.  We are less than a mile from Cocoa Beach Pier which offers restaurants, bars, gift shops, volleyball, fishing, beach rentals, musical entertainment and people watching to last you all day and well into the night.  Recreation activities from tennis to golf, kayaking to deep sea fishing, or take a drive through the Blackpoint Wildlife Drive at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.  The Cocoa Beach area is also home to theaters, museums, historic places and the Brevard County Zoo.

Of course, Cocoa Beach’s ultimate treasure is its beautiful sand beaches and marvelous climate.  Your luxury homeaway at Sandcastles offers spectacular sunrises on the beach with your morning coffee and shaded afternoons and evenings with the moon rising to the calming roar of the Atlantic Ocean tides and breezes.  No matter what your pleasure, you’ll find it here, relaxing at Sandcastles.
